I drove up from Lake Stevens Sunday morning for the 20 inches of new ( cold ) stuff, and parked my car in Deming, and hitched a ride. Met soem cool new friends, and rode the waist deep Pow with my shoufers as partners. We spent 12 hours together, until they dropped me back off at my snowed in, and unmovable car.

A good friend had arranged a place to stay at Glacier. I have a forgivving work enviroment. I went right back up.

I bought a pizza for us to eat at the cabin in Glacier. The lights were out, and we told ghost ( alien ) stories, and drank beer until we could calm our gitters, and get to sleep.

16 inches @ 20 degrees greeted us Monday morning. The snow was, nipples deep, as they say. Scarily deep. Transponders required for chairs 1 and 6. I rode Gobbles like a mad mad. You had to stick to the steeps or else it was all over for you.

Deeps snow I will ever ride. At least this decade. I feel so lucky!
