September 4th, 2006, Palmer snowfield, Mt Hood

On Labor Day, Aaron and I met up with three skiers from TelemarkTips to cruise the Palmer snowfield. Crowds were light and the snow stayed nice all day.

For fun, I traded boots with Brian and took two runs on tele gear. The result:

I was up there Labor Day too (guy on Dynafits), but I didn't run into you.  I figure a few hours of lift served was justified after hiking  6700 feet up Adams for 800 vf of suncupped turns. (Fun index 0.119- TR later.)
