Canada has yet to get the Memo that winter is over. Nice creamy powder all over Whistler today (about 8-12 inches). A 30 minute wait at the base of Harmony proved to be well worthwhile with a fresh line down one of the HorseChutes. At the top of the run I kicked off about 18 inches of cornice rim with little effort. The soft but stiff cornice and the funny snow, which seemed a little dense made me think the ticket price was well spent to let someone else think for me today (in terms of avy anyway), despite the fact that the plan for the coming week is to tour and not to ski inbounds.
