Thursday... Great day skiing! Temps managed to stay cool and we had 2 inches new in the last 48 hours. We headed directly up the REX and played on the groomers like kids in a candy store. No wind today thank goodness! Watched the good skiers fly down powder bowl with several inches of fresh over packed. That steep shot down Snorting Elk was nicely groomed - what a rush, I tend to get compressed at the bottom of that thing. Filtered sun. At the end of the day, it started snowing heavily, had to keep clearing my goggles. Found a cell phone laying in the snow on Green Valley Rim, got a call, his buddy, told me the phone belonged to a liftie, left it at customer services. We got our money's worth today.
