March 28, 2006, Crystal Mtn

Crystal is deeper than I ever remember. Many upper mtn trail signs are buried to their tops, and what are usually narrow chutes off High Campbell are wide open. Tuesday was surprisingly good. Morning was a taste of winter with 2-4" new and snowing; mid-day turned to spring with nice sun and no winds! NW facing Powder Bowl, Throne, and King still gave up some deep powder and wonderful untracked turns.
