Fabulous day at Crystal. Warm temperatures and bright sun softened the frequently referenced boilerplate conditions. It seemed like full-on spring skiing, especially the south facing slopes like Sunnyside. 5 minute lift lines maximum, after the morning rush. The snow sure is wet, though, and with the coming cold front I don't think I'll go back any time soon, at least until new snow falls.

Same thing at Alpental today. It felt like April skiing. Soft snow, blue sky, warm temp. Just as Chair 2 was closing, it started to get a little firm but certainly no complaints after the other reports I've been reading.
