January 24, 2006, Alpental

Headed up to Alpental today after class, got up by about 12:15.<br><br>There were a few scattered clouds at the bottom, but at the top it was amazingly sunny. It was sure nice to see some sun, after being stuck in the rain everyday for the last month or so!<br><br>Took one run down Upper Int-&gt;Ardrenaline-&gt;Lower Int<br>There was a terrible rain crust, very icy and unbreakable, so I decided to stay away from that side of the mountain.<br><br>Took a couple runs down Rollen, Gun Mount, and The Fan, all where the sun was shining. It was very nice. Also took a run through the Breakover trees, that was very nice too. All in all it was a great day! It was nice to see the sun for a change
