The skiing conditions here were alright...

Spent a few days at Jackson Hole with K Wu and crew:
The terrain here is nice and that classic continental snow quality made it all the better! The snow pack continues to pile-up deep in The Tetons. Rather than seeking out the open skied-out steeps when the weather cleared after Sunday's snow storm (and preferring not to wait in the long line for the tram), we opted to hike up the ~500-ft vf to the ridgetop after riding up the gondola for fresh, deep tracks mostly in moderate angle pine-treed terrain in Casper Bowl and The Crags (still 'in-bounds')...definitely worth the steep hikes up.

Our most significant concern in the trees was the hazard of potentially skiing into a moose ; fortunately we saw that one in time to turn out-of-the-way...

Though the lines were generally long for the tram, we rarely had to wait long at the gondola or other lifts during the entire trip. Found many powder stashes in the trees even long after the main runs were packed-out.
A few pics:
Powder skiin' in a mellow glade...
Kelvin Wu's latest homemade skis seemed to work well in the fresh light pow.
Mark carvin'-up the pow with the "Corn on the Log" skis
K Wu's homemade ski line-up
K Wu takes a sweet jump into the condo parking lot
