The only reason to go to Warren Miller films anymore is the shwag -- we used our free passes to Schweitzer this weekend and wow, it was worth it.

Schweitzer's a pretty good size hill and it sucks up skiers like a sponge. We skied Sat/Sun there and were almost always alone, despite longer lift lines on Sunday. Upper mountain was incredibly soft, with some thigh-waist deep pockets and lots of untracked knee deep fluff, even on the last two runs through the trees on Sunday.

Half day at Mt. Spokane on Monday, before driving home. Feather light powder on the upper mountain, drifted and filled in to a foot or two. Icy bumps on the lower mountain, but good coverage overall. Empty and cheap!
