Arrived at Stevens at 9 am. Not very crowded, especially in the morning (Jan 1 continues to be a great day to avoid crowds!).<br><br>Stevens had received about 15" of new snow between Sat. and Sun. - much better coverage than days before. Snow was a bit heavy in the untracked areas, but the moguls were soft and most obstacles are covered up. The back side is ready to ski - still a lot of trees and boulders showing, but good skiing in the backcountry portions of the back side, except for down low. (Don't wait too long to cross over to the chair).<br><br>Bill G<br><br>
