An absolute madhouse up there yesterday! Thankfully we spent the day hiking around outside of the confines of the ski area! Couldn't believe the first tracks in Intermediate chute of of Cowboy. I even managed to hit my fav tree line from the old shack!

Ah, madhouse it was, but I spent my time lapping Southern Cross and Double Diamond (for Big Chief) and only stood in ONE LINE all day long. Knee-high powder most runs, even quite a few fresh tracks laid down in the trees and some hidden chutes. I was quite impressed with the light, fluffy conditions. Decent coverage-no base shots at all (though I did manage to plow into a tree at a decent speed-the snow was worth it!)<br>~L

Good to hear that others were finding the goods on Monday! its the whole 20/80 principle on busy days like that. 20% of the terrain is being used by 80% of the skiers. Find the 80% of the terrain being only used by 20% of the skiers and weekends and holidays aren't so bad.
