While home for the holidays I couldn't pass up a chance to ride at Copper on Thursday. The drive up from Golden sucked really bad. It took us almost 3 hours. The riding was good, but very crowded. Did a little hike to get freshies off the backside, damn 12,200ft made even the shortest hike a little difficult. Add to that there we 50mph raking the ridge we hiked up. Spent the afternoon riding the trees I used to love to ski as a kid. Good to know that some stashes stay unknown for 15 years! All in all it was a great day of snowboarding in Colorado!
