I really went up to crystal just to pick up a couple of vouchers for presents. When I arrived, I was pleasantly surprised to see that the trees had snow in them at about the bottom of right angle ridge. I decided to take a few laps, what a good decision! Green Valley had no people, no tracks and 4-6 inches of funky untracked yoplait yogurt snow. If you were tentative, it would hook you, but if charged with sufficient velocity, it was soggy good fun. I skiied the Green Valley lift all morning and never crossed tracks. Boy oh boy, you never know unless you go! <br>When I got down, I told Tiana, marketing princess, of my good fortune. She was so happy that it didn't suck that she put out a revised ski report for the afternoon. Let's hope that this good base snow continues and that the pineapple express ends soon. DP sez, go skiing!
