Have I died and gone to heaven? If I was judging solely based on today's skiing then I think I have. It was deep (21"s in the past 24hrs!!) and light. Aaron and I got in line for Hood Express at 8:40, it opened at 9:05. We headed to Shooting Star. Run-by-run analysis of first quarter of day:<br><br>First run was absurd. <br>Second run was absurd. <br>Third run was absurd.<br>Fourth run was absurd.<br>Fifth run was absurd.<br>Sixth run was absurd.<br>Seventh run was absurd.<br>Eighth run was absurd.<br>...notice a pattern?<br><br>Even towards the end of the day we were still finding patches that were knee deep. Around noon the lift line at SS disappeared and it was almost ski-right-up-to-the-chair. It was snowing moderatly and a whiteout all day with total accumulation per Telemetry about 7-8"s in the 7 hours we were there, and in the 24hrs before we arrived 21"s. We skied straight from 9am to 3:30 mostly at SS without taking any breaks.<br><br>Heather is not open yet - but Dave Riley's blog says they will try to open it this comming week. <br>
