Mini road road tour.<br>Wed March 9 Mt Batchelor :<br>All lifts running groomed corn 60" (maybe not) Some runs on outback lift had bare spots showing. Backside closed due to thin coverage.Good sunny cruising.<br>Mt Tomalo still skiable to the road.Century road still snow covered. Sisters and Brokentop looked like excellent touring/climbing.Brokentop bare on summit Batchelor normally runs into May.If no new significant falls it will mean mid April closing according to ticket booth. <br>Thurs march 10 Timberline<br>We skied the Palmer glacier.Below the main lodge the runs and lifts are shut down. Magic mile and Palmer are skiable but it looks like a July ski pack. Currently a return ski to the lodge is possible. Upper mountain above palmer looks very good and bergschrund was not <br>open. I watched two parties and a solo ascend the hogsback. A good day to summit.<br>Robie
