February 25, 2005, The Canyons,UT

This was ski day 9 of our trip to Utah. It was another sunny day in the 20's with gromed slopes and a fistful of high speed quads and a gondola. There were small bits of untracked powder in the trees. The Canyons has 8 different mountains with aspects that protect the powder. We skied for 3 hours and cranked in over 20k and started the drive to Nakusp, BC. Next week, we'll heli into the Valkyr Lodge in the Valhallas and the long range forecast looks like some moisture is headed that way. It's been a great 9 days of skiing. The bases of our skis are still unblemished. At least my Crystal midweek pass did get me a free lift ticket in Brighton. <br><br>Zap & Jill
