The mountain opened the first day with several feet of new snow in the past 3 days and 24 inches of cold fresh pow. Then more terrain opened each day.

The terrain was nice for adventurous types, but the area is small and it funnels into just a few runs. Lots of traversing, then 500 excellent VF, then a flat groomer back to the lift. The locals came out in force after their 40 day snow drought, but still plenty of deep pow to be had. The North Face is definitely big, long and consistently steep.

So anyway, well worth it, particicularly since you ski free w/ almost all Washington season pass, with your pass rooms in the Prince are 90 bucks a night, there is is great BC, snow cat and heliskiing out the door if you choose, and it is really beautiful up there.
