The cover is tragically thin: no frontside runs open, no chair 6 (High Campbell). The groomers started off OK on the 28th, but even the frostings of 2-4 inches throughout the following days didn't ameliorate the increasing geologic exposure.<br>The lower portion of the second face on Lucky Shot had to be about the worst I've ever seen.<br>That being said, there were decent turns to be had by skinning up into Avalanche Basin. There were LOTS of people up there. I talked with others who had dropped off the ridge into the park above 410 who said there were some decent turns back there too.<br>Thunk snow, folks.
