telemack-We dropped in (marked by the blue dot) just shy of the west summit:Since we didn't get up high enough, we never had a view of Townsend. I bet it would be great skiing though, if it still...
Legendary streak. Cheers!
Thanks for the beta! I'm headed down there now and will keep my eyes peeled. Unfortunately I'll be driving back north though, so if I spot them I'll try and figure something out.
Great, thanks Charlie. Heading up tomorrow to take a peek at conditions.
Thanks for the great reports guys! Has anyone been up there in the last week or so? Looking for beta for August turns!
Wow guys, way to get after it! Looks nice!
I was one of the day trippers who passed you by early on Thursday morning. We had a blast, but I certainly envy your leisurely trip! That place was a total corn farm, I'm glad you got to ski so m...
Thanks Zap!FYI for everyone - this is a totally doable weekend trip if you ever happen to find yourself in Tokyo with your gear on a April or May weekend!

Wonderful, glad you guys are making due!
The turtle was corned up and a joy to ski! That and I remember the rest of the Wilson and Nisqually were delightful creamed corn despite being late in the day. What a special route, getting to ski all...
Cheers to 12 months! Looks like you found some great lines along the way. In fact, I'm in your picture from April on top of the Fuhrer Finger - good times ;D

We got out thanks to the guys at Roslyn Towing. A winch would have been a wise investment...
Oh yes, we know the spot well!
Good2Go - We parked our Jeep at Scatter Creek specifically. Careful if you head up there, we got stuck in a bad way a little further down the road the weekend before!
The skiing was short but sweet. We climbed to 5900' on the southern flank of Cathedral Rock, and found good quality pow for a few laps.
Our original goal was to bag Mt. Daniel, but the slog was long and our packs were heavy, and the traverse below Cathedral rock was sketchy. So we made camp, drank wine, slept in and skied!
Wow, good stuff!
The dirty bumps are a great way to keep in skiing shape during the off season! In all seriousness, it was a beautiful day and the turns were "excellent". Where else can you ski 3000+ vertica...
Solid work! I'm glad you got out to enjoy that side of the mountain. The longer trek is a worthy price to pay for so few people :)
One more shot of the good stuff:
Looks great! What kind of boots are those?
Thanks for the stoke! We just made the trip 6/6-7. Conditions out there are certainly prime. Truly 'hero' corn from 10,000' down to 7,500'. Plus, you can still ski down to ~4700...
Amar - Thanks for the fantastic photos and thorough detail on your TRs. They're a joy to read!
