Whistler Powder Day

You can ski top to bottom, and the Alpine is all filled in! Even mid mountain trees are skiable after the great day today. Dropped into Whistler Bowl almost first, and wasn’t even waiting in line. I also skied Peak to Creek twice without hitting a rock. I likely had more continuous bottomless powder turns than in my 69 year old life! Cockelorum to most of the way down Peak to Creek.

Not sure why, but I haven’t waited more than ten minutes in a line since last Friday. I think Valley rain really scares new people…with conditions like this I haven’t even needed to skin up anything yet. Might go deeper after the first, but Avy Danger is High.
