Expecting horrible freezing rain, crusty snow and lots of rocks, me and three friends headed to paradise on sunday.  We were surprised with some sunshine, great snow and decent coverage.  We skinned from the parkinglot to muir in about 3 hours, following skin tracks up pan face and passing a friendly couple from Olympia.  A short walk through the rocks above pan point and the rest was a breeze in up to 6" of wind packed powder with only an occasional layer of icy rimed crap frozen from last week poking through.  The ski down was amazing, great turns but visibility ranging from sunny to dead flat light.  pics....the most important part:
Welcome, quikclimber.
Glad you got some good skiing in while the rest of us are waiting for more snow.
Nice report; good pictures.
Thanks.
