Partnered up with bergbryce from South Lake Tahoe and we had an excellent one-day, wham-bam trip up and down Mt. Shasta on Saturday, 12may12.

Don't know if the resolution is good enough to see the tracks here.

You need to go back and try the Hotlum /Wintun route on the east side out of Brewer creek.
Welcome to TAY, Craig! Thanks for the report.
The high season is just getting started in Washington. It's a good time for a road trip...
Been there...done that about 3-4 times already. A very good route and worth repeating but I'm hungry for even less popular routes. My interest is peaked for the North side - maybe Bolam Glacier.
Lowell - need to find a Smart Car that maintains 60mpg and can carry all my gear. I think they're called "transporters" and won't be fully debugged for at least two more centuries according to Gene Rodenberry. ;)

The season may be over - but it was a good way to end it. OTOH - it was so good, I could be talked into another one of those. :)
