Teanaway Window
Get it while it's hot.
I saw a somewhat misleading recon TR of the Teanaway from last week, so I thought I'd add some info to help folks out.
On 5/9 folks broke through the last snowbanks blocking access to Beverly trailhead.
Still tons of snow up high (5000-7000') and consolidated snowpack under freeze/thaw conditions on Earl Peak. On Sunny East and South faces on Saturday there was great corn to be had in the morning and afternoon, when sunny. Descending the west slope of Earl on Sunday when it was overcast and cool made for very firm almost icy conditions. Overnight temps at Navajo pass got down to 20F, when NOAA was saying 25F (typical at elevation in my experience), so factor that into your corn calculations.
Also check out the recent 5/9 NWAC observation here.
Bonus shots of the Stuart range.
Hope this helps someone!

Do you think it is possible to drive to the end of the road at the Emerelda trailhead yet?
Thank you for the report!
Looks like fun! Thanks for the beta also, do you have a higher res version of the stuart range photo (2nd photo)? It'd be cool to zoom in and check out the snow coverage.
