Dege pk was great yesterday. Hiked the mostly dry trail in sandals. Set a boot track back up the chute to repeat. After 3 runs we skied down across the basin to an obvious elk trail that easily traversed back up to the trail.
Skied the lowest easiest access Sourdough Chute today. All of the others are melted out. Had to scramble down a bit of loose talus/mud but it was worth it. First run a bit firm around 9:30, 2nd by 11 was prime. narrow area 1/3rd down melting fast.
