Just a quick after-work outing to Silver Peak. Thanks to Brad's 4Runner rigged for offroading we blasted through a few deep snow patches on the forest road, and parked about a half a mile from the PCT trail crossing.
Surprised at the low snow level for this time of year - Summer Solstice celeb is in jeopardy, it seems. Didn't even descent all the way to the Annette Lake as it got a bit thin about half way down + triggered some wet loose slides.
