Hopefully Kenji and Sally won't mind me posting a little something about our ski trip today. I just have to say we had an awsome day of skiing. After a lot of climbing we reached Sparkplug lake. The sumitt was so tempting but i for one knew that after that much trail braking my legs may not take me all the way back down if i climbed one more foot. So we launched, and what sweet pow-pow we had! What a sight, Glacier peak in the background, sun shining, and Kenji's roster tail of pow sparkling in the sunlight. Far out man.
Tree bombs were the thing to watch out for and wet snow slides off the sun affected slopes. We saw the debris, and heard some loud rumblings from across the drainage. I dug a hasty pit and the slab layer that could be seen in places from before the last snow had consolidated to the older snow.
Kenji took some pictures, maybe he'll post some. If you were not out today, you won't want to see them.

It was definitely worth the effort. Here are a few pics: summit, east view, bottom run.

I took my dog out for some nordic splitting yesterday(wed). Went up to the terrain trap fork of the S creeks just past the crossing. Dog would not cross as usuall, so we went just bit further on the east side before turning around. Took a few photos of slide debris. Some was partially covering what I believe are your traversing out tracks.. also noted part of the up track was swept into the creek.
