Sarvant Glacier
Left cayuse pass at 8:30am Saturday morning just as the sun started to break through. Quick skin over Sheepskull Gap then toured up the Boundary Creek drainage and booted to Governors Ridge. Dropped the west side and rode all the way to Owyhigh Lakes. Very hot climb up standard route on Tamanos and down the SW face to access Sarvant Glaciers. Dropped packs at 5500' as we had already decided not to ride the Cowlitz Chimneys due to cornices hazard. Easy skin to the top of Sarvant and a glorious ride back down on untouched hot pow. After a very comfortable windless and cloudless night we headed back to Owyhigh Lakes crossing over the lower 6000' saddle south of Tamanos. Climbed Barrier Peak via SW ridge and wished we had time to take a lap back down to Owyhigh, but rode off the more adventurous East face and started the slog back to Cayuse Pass with only minor shenanigans en route.
Great weather and solid trip overall. We enjoyed seeing some of the more seldom visited areas of the park, but regretted not having time or conditions for the better lines in the area.
Saw goat and bear tracks all over but only five other people (from afar) after leaving the trailhead.

Thanks for the report. That is indeed rarely visited place. Would love to see your GPS track.
