Had a fun pre winter 2.0 trip to the Rockies with friends about 3 weeks before I usually venture that far east. This years snowpack was a good 2m+ near the divide providing for better then average stability and skiing for this time of year. Rockies tree skiing, which normally involves sticks hitting my face, was redeemed for me at the Pulpit Knobs (not as good as Rogers but best i've found in the Rockies). Would have been a great spring... Some teaser photos from when things were just getting good.
