A re-do of a tour earlier this year of Ptarmigan Perch, except this time with new friends! Anthony, Will, Andrew and I headed out to Ptarmigan Perch on a clear, high pressure day. Northern aspects were wind loaded, many of which had released and were showing crowns. Western aspects were wind hammered as well...eastern aspects held good, corn-like skiing further down off of ridgelines. Skied the northeastern face of Ptarmigan Perch on the way back to Table Mountain. Decided not to ski the northern face of Table because of clear wind loading. Took the cat track back instead.
