The Crystal telemetry site stopped reporting wind data Saturday night, so I was unsure if the six inches of overnight powder were still on the slopes or blown half-way to Spokane.

Based on on-site observation Sunday, most of the snow fell after the wind abated.  We enjoyed skiing light powder from Bear Gap and Pickhandle Point; only the very top of the SW facing slopes appeared wind-affected.  Also, the snow fell with the temperatures, so the powder bonded well to the hard crust, making steep slopes fun to ski and stable.  The sunny weather and absence of crowds didn€™t hurt.

Just as we were ready to leave, the skies darkened and the next storm approached.
I was wondering if you had any snow at all; glad you found nice powder.  Sally and I ended up messing around on Skyline.
