Skied to the top of palmer lift on Oct 5. Conditions were surprisingly good for such little snow. A base set up and there was about 2" of fresh wind blown crust on top. Started climbing at 230 and broke above the cloud layer by the time I hit silcox hut. Saw a few boarders but pretty much had the mountain to myself. I didn't hit any rocks or had to to avoid any either. A great way to start the year ! ;D
