WA Cascades West Slopes North (Mt Baker)

Jerry, Suzan, Lee with Kona, & Cosmo and I camped on Ptarmigan Ridge Sat night and toured below Coleman Pinnacle Sun AM. South and East Faceing slopes where glopping wet, North facing slopes were crusty to near icy and not breakable. West slopes were thin breakable crust and heavy. The weather was nice and hot. Shorts and tee shirt weather. Dug ~2.5 ft to the ground near the ridge top for a stove pit and found consistent heavy consolidated. Good touring not turning.
