With questionable ski conditions and sunny weather, I convinced Kenji and Stephan that it would be a good day to do the Shuksan Arm to Lake Ann loop tour. We had beautiful views of Shuksan throughout the day -- even if the ups and downs of the Arm took longer than expected, and it was a bit of slog out from the Lake. Conditions on the N side off the Arm were a firm crust, while the ski down to Lake Ann was in heavy mush. We saw one other group doing the tour in the opposite direction. Altogether a great day touring in a favorite area.

Thanks Paul for twisting our arms. That was a great tour, even with minimal skiing.
Those skis!! The worst color cordination ever seen: green skis, blue bindings, and red boots. I'd have to ski in the dark...or whiteout.
