When Josh and I arrived there were plenty of sliders in the lot. It seemed most were headed up towards muir. Well, we decided to go and check the back bowl at Mazama ridge out. And it was baked to perfection. Yummy corn! ;D After a few laps there we headed up and around to check out bundy's as our last run of the day and that was tasty too! A bit heavier, but still fun. The snow in the sun formed a few pin-wheelies put nothing tremendous or worrying. We didn't board any non-sun softened slopes, but in the shade it was definitely icy with a nice breakable crust. We saw maybe 4-6 telemarkers all day and that was it. It's great to have blue bird sunshine in the midst of November.

I skied that bowl yesterday ,aswell. Started at Paradise,
across Edith basin and across to Bundy's. I was surprised when we got there to find no tracks on Bundy's. I dug a pit down to ground at the top od Bundy's and the snow was wet all the way through with accumulations of really saturated snow right at the bottom 1'.
Big potential for wet slides on steeper slopes this weather continues IMO.
It skied Ok and then up to Mazama back bowl. That was corn at top , icy in the shade and breakable crust at the bottom. I had a brand new backcounty skier with me who has just converted from the dark side. She was not impressed by the snow but was wowed by the views.
Great day but I would glady swap the views for some good old wind and snow. ;D

Yo Adrianne, You're right, there were certainly a lot of sliders in the p-lot at Paradise compared to the numbers playing around the Paradise area slopes... and no Muir TR's??
They must be hiding all their Muir stashes, eh? ;)
Too bad we missed you and Josh up there... maybe next time.
