Scott K and I had planned on hiking/skinning up to Camp Muir on Sunday, but very poor visibility above PC put an end to that idea.  It was one of those days when you know it's not really going to improve, but optimism and hope push you onwards and upwards.   So we decided veer up and left to have a look at N Chutes. We hugged the rock outcroppings for reference,  but visibility and wind were so bad, we weren't sure if we were at the entrance or not (despite high tech gadgets telling us we were close).

Neither of us wanted to find out the hard way we weren't at the entrance, so we bagged that idea too and skied back down a thousand feet or so before we could actually see something.  The ski back down was still kinda interesting and fun.  We both skied to within a few yards of the parking lot, although a few short walks were necessary.
