Because the coverage sounded decent and anyway the WA pass ambience is unbeatable, PowdertothePeople and I made the long drive from Port Townsend. With a late start we didn't make it too high, but yo-yoed short slopes above Blue Lake. 2 inch surface hoar down low and a few areas of wind slab at higher elevation above the trees. Also it was very sugary throughout, which may become a layer to watch later. It was nice to get the quads tuned-up and sweet to get late fall turns in at WA pass.
