Skied in the Quien Sabe Glacier area in Boston Basin yesterday. Skinned from tree line after hiking the approach on 1-4'' of snow. Looked like it had been windy (something more than the 5-9mph range reported around the region) with wind drifts and deposited snow up to three feet deep on the older foot. Glacier travel sketchy, huge gaping crevices currently getting their winter lids installed. Glorious morning, but clouds came in around 2pm with window shopping till sunset.
Road closed at the 21 mile gate but clear to the parking lot. Burger fries and shakes delicious and overpriced as always in Marblemount. If I was driving I would have fallen asleep at the wheel, thanks Sid!
Pictures someday.
