Some great June turns on Mount Rainier! There is A LOT of snow above 5K and higher elevations are still receiving snow (slushy, but snow none the less). Started from the parking lot at 7:00 AM, clouds were rolling through fast, but stayed above 8K feet, allowing us to ski the Nisqually Chute. Snow conditions in the Chute were AMAZING offering a locked in edge and smooth turns. Snow became sticky below 7K. If you go up be sure to assess temperatures at all elevations,  we hit the Chute at the perfect time, but did see the remnants of wet slides from previous days.
