Muir Snowfield Oct (Rocktober?) 2019
Typical hiking/skinning from Paradise parking lot to camp Muir on October 13th, 2019. Continuous snow starts at 7300 ft, right above Pebble Creek. The creek was almost covered by ice. Small crevasses at snowfield were filled in by resent storms. Cloudy and whiteout condition between 6000ft ~ 9400ft. Nice creamy 3~4 inches powder at Muir Snowfield could have been much more enjoyable skiing. Due to the visibility, I had to follow skin/boot tracks down.
