Mt Snoqualomie Mar 25 and 26

Sunday, MW and I rode down the phantom from a little above 5k. The two cruxs were still in and skiable. The snow was supprisingly good, it had rained the entire drive up and just started snowing in the Alpy parking lot. Some periodic clearing of the skies made for a nice morning run.
I went back for another run yesterday. The two cruxes were still in, barely, but they were much firmer today. The lower part and all the way to about 5k had a crust on it. I went to the summit today following someone's skin track that led to the slot enterance. The snow above 5k was wind packed new snow, there is a slight graupel layer in there and on the steeper sections it would slide from the skin track but wouldn't propogate or go far. I skied down around noon. The lower phantom had softened enough to be fun. The two cruxes were still pretty hard due to shade and just barely continuous.
