Mt Margaret Trees

Toured up from Gold Creek motorized SnoPark trailhead.  Still enough snow on the road alongside I90 to skin along, but getting thin.  plenty of snow still among the trees on the ridge.  Highly variable snow conditions, from water saturated snow pack to hard icy conditions.  Descended to west through the Margaret Trees linking glades and slots through the trees.  Very icy conditions under the old trees - survival skiing.  Surprisingly, the slopes open to the sun or with short trees held the softest snow (it was cloudy all day).  Traversed along the NF 4832-136 road at 3550' and then skied down the NF 4832 road to return as trees get tighter and the snow snakes and holes in the snow looked to get much worse approaching the creek.
