There was a small patch of snow left just beyond the lakes that was 'skiable'. There were actually some other tracks there before my dad (who just turned 80 this summer and is still up for this craziness;)) and I got there. It was only around a 1/2 mile hike to the snow field from the visitors center and while not great, we were able to actually get 22 turns in a single run and someone even build a small jump at the bottom- fun!
