November isn't looking promising for easy skiing around Mission Ridge. I'm thankful for the remnant snow patches from the September storm, but I hope we get better snow than this in December! Jtack and I did an afternoon ski and skate just east of the ski area and had a really fun time. We skied four(ish) laps on easy skiing larch needle covered old snow, and then skated a bit on Lake Clara. It was a cold blue-sky day, and pretty good skiing considering how much snow we've gotten this month (none!). The pics of me are from a similar trip a few days ago. Same slope, different lake.
