I went on a flat-land trip since the crust seemed to be uniformly awful. However it was a great day when I was reminded that touring is OK & you don't have to slay the pow all the time! The skinning was good and it was nice to see all the alder getting buried.
I rode my bike from Dingford Creek trailhead to just below the Horse Camp @ 2900vf. Crossed the river on the log-nail-bridge some enterprising dude has fitted and swizzled upstream into the giant bowl under the Burntboot-Overcoat saddle, right under NE face of Burntboot.
The coverage is poor, and the crust was evil and it had 'you're going to get hurt' written all over it so I & went home.
That NE side of Burntboot looks like a great line as long as the cornice isn't formed, or doesn't fall off while slaying that (north facing) powder.

Awesome! I went up there this spring and had a more adventurous creek crossing further up river. Glad to know there is a bridge!
