Enjoyed a quick overnight into the heart of Justice Bill's Wilderness to enjoy the Nelson Ridge. Approaching via the Mt. Aix and Dog Creek trails from the east was a few miles of carrying / bushwacking before hitting snow. Skinned up into the Dog Creek headwaters cirque below Mt. Aix and camped but fell asleep before the full moon rose. Friday morning I skinned/booted up the NE face of Aix in firm conditions and enjoyed sunbathing on the melted out lookout platform. By 11 the corn was ripe and I descended the way I had come.
