Made it up to Pilchuck in the trusty Honda Fit. Parked .1 miles from the trail head. Last snow bank should be melted out by the end of the week.
Booted the first mile then transitioned to skinning after breaking out of the forest. Began descent at 10:45. Set off a small wet slide in the Gunsight. Climbed back up and skied the ridge down. Some decent corn but turned slushy quick. Had to jump a crack after committing to a slope - would like to avoid in the future. Fun day with lots of transitions. Made it back in time for margaritas and tacos
