May 31, 2004, Mt Lassen

Well I headed out to Lassen again since I had only one day off of work and couldn't make it to shasta. There was millions of yahoos at the main trailhead to lassens summit whichs is the one I took to the top which wasn't too bad I used snowshoes most of the way with few spots of rock you had to go around which was a problem. I started at around 2 and lolly gagged my way up taking pictures and filming a little. I got to where the snow ended at the top which was pretty close to the summit but not quite at around 3:45 or so i think. Then I snowboarded down to the bottum and that took me a whole 15 mins to get to the bottum. It was all nice corn snow the whole time. Still loads of snow up there and some skiers were going down the road further and would drop the guy off and go down the road which swooped down and around and they would pick him up and drive back up which seemed like a pretty cool idea to me using my truck as a lift but I had nobody with me that day  >:(  Me and a bunch of my snowboarder friends plan to go up this Thursday to make some jumps and a road gap jump so I can get my 2004/2005 movie started.
