It was a pleasant day. Not too many people at all! Warm and pleasant with no wind at Muir. Intermittent, moderate fog-bank action on the way down (polite way of describing a white-out) but it did not last very long. The ascent through Pan Point was intermittently steep and icy vs. mushy in the AM and I carried my skis maybe 2% of the way up. On the descent, I dropped into Edith Creek basin through a just-barely-connected snow finger and came out nicely to the lodge. There was just a little side-hilling at the end and all in all it was a great return option.
