We arrived to 3-4" of new snow and temps right at freezing with light snow falling.  New snow was initially pretty good although the bond between new and old made side-hilling tricky on steeper slopes.  Older snow surface seemed well consolidated on most aspects.  The sun managed to break through for 10-15 minutes and quickly affected the snow and air temperature.  Lots of "snowball" action as the new snow quickly turned wet.

It was great to meet up with Joedabaker back at the parking area on the way out where it continued to snow heavily.  Quite a parade of interesting tourists as well...

Note that the NPS White River entrance road is now open to the campground (which remains closed), and they were charging full admission for those wishing to take in the sights at the campground.
