On Friday, Stacy and I left the Baker parking lot nice and early (8:30 AM) and skied a route not nearly as cool as any of Sky's Shuksan routes. However, it was my first time on the White Salmon Glacier, and a good day to be not working or studying.
Good snow up high yielded good turns, but that changed to soupy glop at the bottom of the valley. A quick skin back to the bottom of Chair 8 (and a free ride to the top of chair 8) put us back to the car by 2:00 PM.
